Our second visit to Epoch was wonderful. We sat outside on the porch which was perfect on a warm summer evening. The service throughout the meal from our waitress and the manager was outstanding, both friendly and attentive. We started with oysters which were fresh and beautifully presented, the finely shaved horseradish was a unique touch. For starters we had Shanghai calamari and mussels in a beer broth. The calamari was tender and flavorful, a very generous serving. Mussels in beer were new to us and an interesting taste. For mains we had the rib eye steak and pan seared duck. The steak tasted very good if a little fatty. While the parmesan frites were ok we wished we had ordered the duck fat fingerlings instead. The duck was cooked perfectly and extremely tender. For desert we shared the wild berry tart which was excellent and once again a very generous serving. We felt like we had been treated to a special evening and look forward to returning to Epoch in the near future.

I had a wonderful experience at Epoch. The interior is gorgeous, and very appealing. Our server was very attentive and knowledgable. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and the food was amazing! I will definitely be returning to Epoch frequently both for dinner and Sunday Brunch.
